I'm trying to buy a franchise and i can't seem to get a response I even called headquarters and got a person, who followed up with an email but i can't seem to get the person she assigned to actually call

So we booked this short trip for my oldest birthday and to try something new ! I signed a the online agreement and read all over their site so we would be well prepared!
However when we showed up we had to sign more papers and I did not agree at first w agreeing about my youngest daughters pictures being shared online and when I mentioned that to the guy at the front desk/ shop named Joe he told me then if you do not agree then you cant stay here ! I felt threatened as I was protecting my childs face from being all over the internet! As a parent I should have that right ! I told them I was not happy w being threatened about this!
After paying over $600 we had to stay as they do not refund ! I looked again all over the paperwork n site no where does it say I have to agree or we cant stay !
Anyways that was the first red flag ! The second was that there was a nasty paper towel left on one of the beds and we took a pic of it ! We then ended up trying to use the Wi-Fi so we can settle down before bed to watch tv.
However the Wi-Fi did not work and we were not told this ! The next day I went to the shop to talk to Joe again who told me oh to be honest it dont work back there ! I said would have been nice to know! What is the point of having a tv if you cant watch it ?
No where did it say that on site or was I made aware of ahead of time either !
The third flag was construction crew works at night n you will hear them as they are loud ! Now we ended up reserving the cabins in the back so it would be away from all the loudness but nope ! Kids making noises is completely different than construction crews all night ! They could be working during the day !
If they try to say its so we dont disturb our guests they need to understand doing it at night also disturbs your guests not everyone is a deep sleeper !
Lastly I will say there is not a coffee shop in the store so for us who had rough nights could enjoy something nor is the so called food truck ever open ! There is also no worms being sold at the location only sodas ! You have a lake to fish but dont sell worms making customers leave the park to go find some !
The pictures online are deceiving ! The beach is not a beach its just a short sanded area !
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told he wasnt in yet but would be later today !
I will try again to speak to someone and wont stop til they get that this stuff isnt ok ! The pool also was green and disgusting!

We went to the Jellystone in Bath, NY and we were woken up at 1 in the morning being attacked by bedbugs. We called the office to report it and the first words out of their mouth were "We don't have bedbugs" they then sent someone to inspect.
I killed over 12 that I seen. They said did you keep any alive? Why in the world would I keep any alive. We packed up our stuff and left with our 4 kids.
Their time was ruined and my husband and I feel like we still have bugs on us.
Anything that was in the room with the bugs we left behind. We lost are suitcases, clothes sheets and blankets and we were not offered any kind of compensation.

So we woke up to them mowing and instead of putting tables on the gravel parking spots they put in the roads to get to the spots. I physically can not move the tables myself or I so would have.
Either I hit a pole or tried to avoid a fire pit. My back end clipped the fire pit and the manager said if you think Im paying for that youre kidding and would not even let me explain he cut me off. Tables were eventually moved 6 hours later. I was not even gonna ask for him to pay or anything until he rudely cut off and acted so disrespectfully.
Theyre supposed to make sure that we are having a good time and that we are taking care of and this situation they did not do that.
They did the total opposite and that manager was so unprofessional. I do not recommend going to this place and if anything happens, they wont take care of it Had some more incident happen after that and I will never be returning to this place ever.

My family stayed in Jellystone Park Chincoteague Island from July 26-28th—our reservation was until the 29th. We met with my other family, who had an RV from North Carolina and they booked for 7 days. I am pregnant (high risk) and booked a cabin with a restroom and a kitchen for medical needs and to accommodate my husband and two children (ages 12 and 8). When we booked 'Boo Boo's Bunk House', we knew it was all bunks, but that was all that was left with a kitchen and bathroom at the time of our booking.
When we arrived, the cabin was far from clean. The grey couch was totally falling apart- too unclean to sit on, the mould smell was unhealthy, and the kitchen looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time. I began sanitizing and cleaning what I could with my bleach wipes and discovered black ants everywhere- in the cupboards, on the beds and in the bathroom. We then noticed a large hole near the floor of the bathroom in the wall.
Prior to unpacking anything, we went and spoke with the office, quietly to not cause concern to the other guests, and we were told— 'Yes, we know about the hole— you won't be charged, and the ants are just looking to stay dry because of all the rain. It was as clean as it was going to get.'
I was flabbergasted by the response and the dismissiveness of the staff— the staff member hardly looked up as she spoke and was stapling park passes. Not having any other options on places to stay with my family and not wanting to ruin my children's time with their cousins, we did our best. Our food (that wasn't in freezer bags) all had to be thrown away due to the ants, we were unable to use the kitchen due to lack of cleanliness, and the brown blankets that were provided were covered in black hair— they appeared to be dog hairs, so I had to borrow some blankets from my mom.
I called before arrival to see if linens were provided and while they were 'provided', it was clear they were not 'clean' in a way that is expected for human use. After trying our best, the mould smell became too serious a health concern for myself, unborn child and family, so we packed up early on Sunday and left.
Furthermore, the mattresses were so thin and uncomfortable that we could no longer sleep on plywood. We had also rented a golf cart and missed our second day at the water park. This was extremely frustrating as we paid a very large price for misleading online photos, an unconcerned staff, and unsafe accommodations. Not only did we miss time with our families, but had to throw away food, spend money on unsafe conditions and be unacknowledged for our valid concerns by your staff.
I would appreciate financial compensation and a reply email, as well as addressing these issues with the staff as this cabin is not a safe space especially for children. I plan to reach out to the local health department and Better Business Bureau if I do not hear back in regards to this complaint. Thank you.

I am beyond upset right now with this place; they only refunded me for 2 out of 5 days. I don't want to come there due to the storm damage and the uncertainty of being able to find gas, food, and clean water.
Plus, I have seen pictures of the park and it's flooded. I have severe anxiety, and this situation is not helping my health. Why wouldn't any place give a full refund because I am not traveling there for 3 days trying to find open roads?
I don't want a credit because I will never return. This is a poorly run business.

We had a family reunion in August, renting 2 sites and 4 cabins. One cabin had mouse droppings, and they even saw the critter.
My son went to the office to complain and get help with this situation. Maintenance had no mouse traps, and upon asking again the next day, they still didn't offer any. My son asked to switch cabins but was told none were available. My son and family slept in that cabin for 6 nights with mice running around.
The mice ate food left on counters such as bread, rolls, and pretzels. Mouse droppings were found in beds, on counters, and even in their shoes. He finally packed up and left a day early because the kids came down with fevers, chills, and fatigue. When they got home, they took the kids to the doctor and were told it was a virus that could have come from the mice!
Disgusting, simply disgusting. We have stayed at other Yogi Bear campgrounds and never had a problem with mice or the office not assisting with problems.

Altogether this company is great but I made a complaint about this before but. The people next to us havent been respectful and its past 12:00 am and they are screaming,laughing very loudly and keep talking very loudly to.
No one else is doing it and its keeping us awake. This is pretty much the only thing bad.
Mouse Problem in cabin
We went to Quarryville, Pa yogi bear rv park with entire family of 23 people. My son and his family stayed in a cabin that cost $1967 for the week.
They found a mouse problem the first night that was defacating all over the cabin. They went to office and complained right away. Also asking to switch cabins but were told there wasn't any available. They took pictures to show the manager that there was mouse droppings on counters, in their shoes and beds.
Also the mouse ate food that was left on counters. My son asked for mouse traps and none were available. NOTHING WAS DONE TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.! They offered a free pool cabana on friday which was a insult since a tropical storm was due that day and how was that solving a mouse problem?.
My wife spoke to a lady named Matty on Saturday at office there, was told supervisor was unavailable to speak to and She offered to take a $106 off, which is unacceptable. My son and his family who traveled from California for this trip left a day earlier because of this problem. Me and my wife have been going to your rv parks for years with our friends. But this put anxiety on our trip we didnt need.
When you pay that much to have a good time and then have to worry about mice defacating all over the place that is unacceptable.
They didnt have one good night without mouse problems.
I feel we should be compensated at least half our money back for that cabin since they couldn't have a good nights rest all week!!!
Now I find out that my grandkids got a virus from the mouse droppings !!! I now want all my money back for that cabin $1967 !!!

Minors and teenagers driving fast and fooling around in the golf carts. We saw two fell from the golf cart.
Adults driving fast the carts. Dog were pooping on the street I saw dogs owners not cleaning after their dogs.

My family comes to North Texas Jellystone every year. However this year we just learned my sister in law is getting married that weekend and she has asked my husband (her brother) to officiate.
So we need to cancel our reservation. They are only wanting to refund half and I just dont agree with that. They are going to rebook that spot no problem. We absolutely love Jellystone and we will actually be staying at the Jellystone at-lake Eufala in august with family.
I would just really appreciate if there is anyway we could just get our full refund. Thank you for all you do.
